The craziness the madness the insanity of it all has become socially normal responses to our ways of life and the mentally unstable society we all inhabit. These disorders are from the delusions and hallucinations we have imbedded daily in our minds and are normally referred to as psychosis, mental disorders, which are caused from our unconscious acceptance of relentless bombardment of influencing suggestions.
Psychopathology is a fancy scientific term for trying to understand mental disorders or basically the study of them which include there social causes. Our senses are bombarded daily by so much useless and repetitive information is it any wonder why we are all insane. Maybe that's how the big media companies want it, maybe that's the big plan, keep everyone completely insane and we can convince them of almost anything. If you watch news or any kind of program you'll notice it is very repetitive, five minutes of news, five minutes of commercials, then it repeats for the next two hours over and over.
Anyone of us could plead guilty of insanity in court and probably would have a pretty compelling defense, just from what we mentioned above. The mind is a terrible thing, easily influence into believing just about anything, if repeated enough. Take most any belief system and you see this same thing, over and over repeating the same information until you have no control over what is true and what isn't, you just believe. It's like hypnosis, everyone is hypnotized, we are all in a hypnotic state all day long unconsciously responding to suggestions, we are awake with focused attention but completely unaware of what is actually happening.

. Deviance: This term describes the idea that specific thoughts, behaviors and emotions are considered deviant when they are unacceptable or not common in society.
. Distress: This term accounts for negative feelings by the individual.
: . Dysfunction This term involves maladaptive behavior that impairs the individual's ability to perform normal daily functions.
. Danger: This term involves dangerous or violent behavior directed at the individual, or others in the environment.
The four Ds are important because these are the things that are primarily imbedded in our unconscious hypnotized mind all day long. It is not so much that we have these but that we respond to them which is why these four are the focus of media, because our feelings our emotions our desire to help others or Altruism, is part of our involuntary, evolutionary subconscious reactions.
During our hypnotized state we are focused on the communications of the media. We seem to respond in an uncritical, automatic fashion, ignoring all aspects of the environment other than those pointed out to us by the media. We see, feel, smell, and otherwise perceive in accordance with the media suggestions, even though these suggestions may be a complete contradiction of how we truly feel.

They use a variety of suggestion forms including direct verbal suggestions, "indirect" verbal suggestions such as requests or insinuations, metaphors and other rhetorical figures of speech, and non-verbal suggestion in the form of mental imagery, voice tonality, and physical manipulation. A distinction is commonly made between suggestions delivered "permissively" and those delivered in a more "authoritarian" manner. We just assume that the media have our best interest in mind and those figures we see on TV are the authority on the issues. That couldn't be further from the truth, they are simply reading what they are told and are just as brainwashed as society, believing what they read is truth.

. Dysthymia - Mood disorder similar to depression. Persistent low mood but no effect on ordinary functioning. . Bipolar Disorder - Another mood disorder, depression, manic episodes.
Insanity and the above disorders are studied in abnormal psychology which is a branch of . Major Depressive Disorder - Is a mood disorder, loss of motivation, lack of energy, thoughts of suicide.psychology that studies unusual patterns of behavior, emotion and thought, which may or may not be understood as precipitating a mental disorder. It's interesting just how much the media is indirectly responsible for disorders of this type, our moods all day long can be modified from simple suggestions either positive or negative.
Some people are more vulnerable to hypnotic suggestions then others and studies have shown that an individual that is very vulnerable cannot cope with the environmental stress once the suggestion has been imbedded, thus are unable to function in daily life. This is one of the three above which has to do with mood and depression. Throughout time, societies have proposed several explanations of abnormal behavior within human beings.
exiled from society or worse. While this would be considered extreme by today's standards we still to this day have those with extremely irrational beliefs that control their everyday thoughts, mood and are easily influence by hypnotic suggestions and will try and influence others with this abnormal belief.
Today we look at these beliefs as rational because they have been part of cultures for thousands of years and have been used as a means to control not only peoples minds and lives but how they feel about others. These abnormal behaviors are attributed to agents outside of the human body such as spirits, demons, angles, gods as well as moons, planets and stars. The insanity behind this is people will actually claim they are possessed by these spirits or have actually talked or heard from them. As we mentioned above if something is repeated over and over you start to believe it is true, our minds then will unconsciously start to visualize this as reality even though it would be considered a mental illness people will go to extremes to believe it true and even become violent towards others for not believing them.
Beginning centuries ago people believed that those demonstrating abnormal behavior are possessed by malevolent spirits or had irrational spiritual beliefs. In some instances, individuals exhibiting unusual thoughts or behaviors have been

a mental illness of such a severe nature that a person cannot distinguish fantasy from reality, cannot conduct her/his affairs due to psychosis, or is subject to uncontrollable impulsive behavior. This is not only the legal definition but the scientific definition based on studies from psychologist. Uncontrollable behavior is the key words here, they define exactly what we have been talking about above. If you don't believe you are insane and your behaviors are not out of your control, you are suffering from delusion, what we do everyday, how we conduct our lives, how we associate with others on and on have for centuries been from suggestions imbedded in our minds through all kinds of indirect and direct influences.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. No, it isn't.
